Best Fried Chicken Restaurant in Jacksonville

Listen, I can’t say enough great things about this spot!!! The reviews do not lie!! I often times am looking for a healthier option, especially late at night and I love that they offer grilled food as well as cheese steaks, seafood, just other options aside from fried food only. The fried food doesn’t disappoint either! Britney along with all the other staff is absolutely amazing. Their customer service is top-tier and the food is always fresh and well seasoned. I’m hooked! My family and I have been consecutive days in this last week and will continue to come. This is just pictures of what I had. Do yourself a favor and try them out, you won’t be disappointed!!

The portion size was generous, and each piece tasted fresh, not frozen. The dipping sauces paired well, especially the house cocktail or garlic butter. Wings: Their wings were just as impressive. They had that perfect balance of crunchy skin with juicy meat inside. I tried a couple sauces—lemon pepper and mild buffalo—and both had real depth of flavor. The lemon pepper wasn’t just dusted on; it had a buttery, citrusy taste. The buffalo sauce had the right kick without being overwhelming. You can tell they cook the wings to order. Subs: The sub I tried was packed and well-prepared. The bread was warm with a slight crunch on the outside and soft inside. Every ingredient tasted fresh—the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were crisp, and the meat was well-seasoned. It didn’t fall apart or get soggy, which is rare for a big sub. Service & Atmosphere: Service was fast and friendly. The staff actually pays attention and makes sure your order is correct. The restaurant itself was clean, including the tables and the area where they prepare the food. Even when it got a little busy, the wait time stayed reasonable. Overall: If you’re in the mood for seafood, wings, or a solid sub, this place checks every box. The food is flavorful, the portions are worth the money, and the quality is consistent. Definitely a spot I’d come back to—and recommend to others.

I had a problem with the snapper I ordered Sunday November 30th and I returned the next day and the manager fix the problem asap and the meal I received was extremely excellent, I never had a problem with the fish before but they stand by their policy that they had the best fish and chicken in Duvall County. They did not even hesitate to rectify the problem I had. I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff and management were awesome and I will be going back again and recommend this establishment to my friends and family.

Duval Fish and Chicken absolutely deserves five stars! The food was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Everything tasted amazing and you can tell they take pride in serving quality meals. I also have to give a special shoutout to Yanna — her customer service was exceptional! She was very friendly, professional, and patient, even while multitasking and handling pressure like a pro. She made the whole experience welcoming and smooth. Great food and outstanding service — I’ll definitely be back!
